The law firm
Louro & Tiago was established on the 1st May 1994
and on the 30th September 2000, amalgamated with the practice
of Von Zwiklitz-Wright.
The firm is on the panels of most of the major banks and
as such can attend to registration of transfer and registration
of mortgage bonds simultaneously, for the convenience
of clients.

The directors, John Louro and Marina Tiago are both BA
LLB Graduates of the University of the Witwatersrand,
having graduated in 1986 and 1988 respectively.
John Louro has been a Senior Lecturer in Conveyancing
and Notarial Practise at the Law Society of South Africa
for the past 8 years, lecturing theoretical and practical
conveyancing to attorneys and conveyancing secretaries.
He wrote the current Conveyancing Practise manual used
in the republic of South Africa by students of conveyancing.
He has also been involved in lecturing on banking securities
law, negotiable instruments and the law of suretyship
to the management and staff of various banks in Gauteng,
Cape Town and KwaZulu-Natal and has acted as arbitrator
for medical aid schemes and in sectional title disputes.
